Family Owned and Operated for Four Generations

Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Company in Irwin, PA

There aren’t too many businesses that have been around for four generations. But Caruso Cabinet in North Huntingdon isn’t your typical business.

Today, Caruso Cabinet is owned and operated by Dennis Caruso, whose grandfather originally started the company in 1935 in McKeesport. His father took over the business from the 1950s through 1970s, and Dennis has been running it since the early 1980s.

Throughout all that time, Caruso said the only problem the business has had has always been the same: “People think we’re more expensive than we are because of the quality of work we do,” he said.

In fact, Dennis said that we not only have cabinet lines that compete with big box stores, but there is no comparison with the design expertise and the actual installation and remodelling of your project.

“We also manufacture our own line of custom cabinets for your medium & high-end or hard to fit projects at an affordable price,” he said. “And when you deal with us directly, you receive our design, consultants and experienced work force for your home remodelling project. The job is going to be ordered correctly, installed professionally and will go smoothly. Plus, we excel in custom work, so there’s no configuration or situation that we can’t resolve for your cabinets.

In addition to full kitchen renovations, Caruso Cabinet has been doing bathroom renovations for decades as well. All projects are handled in-house from start to finish by Caruso Cabinet’s master craftsmen, many of which have been with the organization for 35 years or more.

What’s more, any job can be customized. So if you’re ordering semi-custom or special quality cabinets, you can upgrade to all wood and finishes to accommodate your needs and lifestyle.
The first step is through their front door into their expansive showroom, where you can see some of the work they’re capable of. From there, you can design your dream kitchen or bath and working out the financing. The next step consists of Caruso Cabinet coming to your home for measuring your space for proper fit. After that, your cabinets are created and finished by hand, just like they’ve always been since 1935.

When planning a kitchen or bath renovation, Caruso said that six to eight weeks is the average length of the project from start to finish, although the sheer volume of work the company gets in the Spring time can extend that by a few weeks.

“Everybody seems to buy new cabinets in the spring, that is fine but a fall project works great for holidays or even a year end purchase for a New Year start in January is a good time also.”

Appointments are suggested so we could give you all the attention you deserve, but walk-ins are welcome.
